Business Test Manager – Contract

We are seeking an experienced Business Test Manager with over 10 years of expertise within the insurance/financial services sector to execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in an international IT program. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of test management, delivery methodologies, diverse stakeholder management and be experienced in supporting global business teams to ensure flawless execution of testing processes.

Wat Je Doet

Reporting to the Business Test Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Test Management Expertise
  • Design and implement robust testing plans, test cases and supporting processes aligned with the goals of the international programme
  • Perform UAT activities, coordinating with cross-functional business teams to ensure testing aligns with business objectives
• Methodologies Mastery
  • Proficiently navigate both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, adapting approaches based on project requirements and governance
  • Champion best practices in testing execution, ensuring adherence across the business testing teams
• Team Management and Motivation
  • Support and inspire global business testing teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture so that they can deliver testing to their best potential
  • Provide mentoring, guidance, and training to business team members, promoting continuous improvement. This may require in person support and therefore travel in EMEA
• Tool Proficiency
  • Demonstrate proficiency in advanced testing tools and technologies, ensuring their effective utilisation in testing execution and defect management
  • Support the implementation of new tools or upgrades to enhance testing capabilities
• Stakeholder Communication
  • Act as a liaison between the Business Test Lead and business teams, communicating test progress, issues, and risks effectively
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders up to Country COO level to prioritize testing efforts based on business needs
  • Produce and deliver concise and accurate progress reporting for the Business Test Lead on all execution activity
• DevOps Pipeline and Automated Testing
  • Leverage understanding of DevOps pipelines and automated testing to streamline testing processes
  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to enhance efficiency and accuracy in testing cycles

Note that some travel in Europe may be required on an infrequent basis.
