AI Technician

We are looking for an AI Technician for Airbus in Leiden. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, integration, testing, and verification of aerospace products and test configurations. You will work according to technical documentation, procedures, and project requirements while ensuring the highest quality standards. You will report to the Team Leader Assembly & Integration and work closely with Senior AI Technicians and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing assembly and integration activities for aerospace products and test configurations
- Carrying out technical work independently on flight and non-flight hardware
- Executing verification and acceptance tests to ensure products meet technical and quality requirements
- Supporting the development and testing of alternative technical solutions and implementing approved modifications
- Preparing and maintaining integration documentation in accordance with established procedures
- Contributing to the development of Handling Integration Procedures (HIPs)
- Identifying, designing, developing, and manufacturing integration support tooling and equipment
- Preparing products for shipment and supporting logistics activities when required
- Providing on-site product support to customers when necessary
- Creating documentation for verification and acceptance testing activities
- Preparing problem reports and advising on modification methodologies
- Continuously identifying opportunities for process improvements and technical innovations within the AIT department
- Collaborating with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure successful project execution
Eisen
- MBO+ opleiding (or similar if candidate is foreign)
- MBO opleiding LIS (Leidse Instrumentmakers school (LIS))
- You are prepared to go on business trips in the future (ranging from a few days to several weeks).
- can work meticulously and follow procedures, which is very important in space travel.

Wensen
- Multiple years assembly experience with fine mechanical components / industry.
- Preferably experience with clean rooms
- Affinity with aerospace sector
- Sufficient in both Dutch & English language in speech and written
