Omschrijving
We are looking for a Kubernetes specialist (32-40 hrs) to strengthen our DevOps team (named Asgard). The team exists of 8 colleagues: 6 engineers, a PO and a scrummaster. Together you take responsibility for the development and maintenance of the container Kafka platform.
These are exciting times at TenneT! We are speeding up our IT delivery to be able to support the energy transition. This requires new tools, technologies and processes. Asgard is building a container platform so we can provide our (internal) customers with one stop shop and self-service functionalities on our own datacenters.
To contribute you’ll need to:
- Bring expert level knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform and ArgoCD
- Have experience with HashiCorp Vault, Rancher and Portworx
- Align with other DevOps engineers that are working on the container platform
- Align with (solution) architects and engineers to identify the requirements for the container platform
- Ensure privacy and security are respected
- React to incidents and perform standby activities with the rest of the team
- Provide suggestions and tools to help development decrease lead time

Eisen
- Professional and intellectual ability at bachelor level or higher
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes
- Able to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
- Willingness to provide 24x7 support

Wensen
- Experience with maintaining a container platform.
- CKA and/or CKAD certified or willing to get certified.
- Understanding software defined networking and Micro Services architecture.
- Experience with Agile development and Scrum.
- Version Management (GitHub Enterprise), Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
- Experience with deploying using tools like Helm and ArgoCD.
- Experience with observability (ELK, Prometheus and Grafana).
